It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glossie Mae Cotton of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann Stringer and John Parker Stringer; and her siblings, Hazel Merritt, Maude Foster, WyVivian Fuller, Maereater Oliver, Alycia Stringer, John Parker, Jr., H. F. Stringer, Evin Stringer, Levy Stringer and Emmitt Stringer.
She is survived by: her husband James L. Cotton; her children, James L. Cotton, Jr. and Mary A. Jackson; her grandson Devin Jackson; her sister-in-law Mae Cotton; and her close friends, Mary Alston and Annie Floyd. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
