It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertha Lee Seay (Phenix City, Alabama), who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gertha Lee Seay to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lugenia Seay and Charlie Andrews; her brothers, Leonard Seay and Charlie Andrews, Jr.; and her daughter Theresa Manley.

She is survived by: her friend Gertha; her children, Janelle Hollis of Columbus, GA, Robert Manley, Jr. of Columbus, GA, Jamell Seay of Smyrna, GA and Tre'vion Messer of Cataula, GA; and her sisters, Rosie Mae Seay, Amy Seay, Shirley Farley (Herman), Mazell, Kimberly Scott (Rod) and Hope Lewis. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
