Elvin H. Nix Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvin H. Nix of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Blakely, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Nix and Nina Mae Jones Nix; his children, Ellis H. Nix and Elesa Nix; and his siblings, Laurie Vasquez, Gladys Gibson and Troy Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Parks Nix of Phenix City, AL; his son Eddie Nix (Debi) of Phenix City; and his grandchildren, Brandon Nix (Chariss), Ashley Nix, Shane Reuber and John Rogers (Brittney). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members.
Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to Woodland Baptist Church in Phenix City in memory to Mr. Elvin Nix.
