It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Anastasia Emberlin of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Piechula and Martha Muschiol Kalin; her husbands, Eugene C. Cooksey and Jessie Emberlin; and her sisters, Christine Deneen and Johanna Gordon.
She is survived by: her caregiver Becky Aderhold (Richard) of Phenix City, AL; and her nieces, Deborah Mordecai and Ann Deneen.
