With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Mann Layfield of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mann and Flossie Newsome Mann; her husband Billy L. Layfield; her siblings, Janice King and Luther Mann; her nephews, Donald Paek and Christopher Layfield; and her daughter-in-law Marsha Layfield.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Paek (Don), Jack Layfield (Marty), Neal Layfield (Cris) and Jan Crowley (Bill); her grandchildren, D. J. Layfield, Jennifer Humphrey, Elizabeth McAshan, Andrew Paek, Laura Gutierrez, Joni Anderson, Danielle Crowley, Hannah Crowley and Marci Crowley; and her great grandchildren, David, Maci, Jenna Grace, Kierra, Ashlyn, Rowan, Violet, Daphne, Roxas and Luna. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
