He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Peterson; his brothers, Eric Peterson, Donta Peterson and Myriss Peterson; and his grandparents, Willie B. Johnson, Ella Vester-Washington, Frazier Smith and Griggs Peterson, Sr..

He is survived by: his father Donald L. Peterson of Phenix City, AL; his children, Taishaun Young of Clarksville, TN, Jeremiah Young of Clarksville, TN and Serenity Young of Clarksville, TN; his siblings, Doretha Johnson of Clarksville, TN, Kelvaris Allison of Phenix City, AL, Montrellus Allison of Hurtsboro, AL, Travis Allison (Shonta) of Smiths Station, AL and Terrance Allison of Hurtsboro, AL; his nieces and nephews, Katerria Brown of Phenix City, AL, Ladaisha Brown of Clarksville, TN, Shamiyah Peterson of Clarksville, TN, Kashara Peterson of Clarksville, TN, Eryana Merriweather of Clarksville, TN, Sade Pacheco of Las Vegas, NV, Cordarius Brown, Ladairius Brown of Clarksville, TN and Kannon Allison of Hurtsboro, AL; and his aunts and uncles, David Peterson (Sheryl) of Columbus, GA, Randolph Peterson (Bethany) of Opelika, AL, Jimmie Peterson (Beverly) of Ft. Myers, FL, Margaret Lias of Eufaula, AL, Mary Smith Peterson (Ray) of Columbus, GA and Patricia Bell of Shorter, AL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (176 Co Rd 108, Union Springs, AL 36089).
