He is survived by: his brother McArthur Cooper; his children, Eddie Gene Gilmore III (Cyane) of Phenix City, AL, Jahkirah Gilmore of Phenix City, AL, Janasia Miles Gilmore of Phenix City, AL and Marstina Douse of Phenix City, AL; his siblings, Anita Humphrey (Kenneth) of Smiths Station, AL, Shanee Henderson (Byron) of Covington, GA, Jerome Gilmore (Tammy) of Smiths Station, AL and Jerry Gilmore of Auburn, AL; his aunts, Elaine Lynch of Phenix City, AL, Frances Grant, Mary Jean Gilmore of Orlando, FL and Minnie Lou Stephens (Annie Whatley) of Smiths Station, AL; his uncle Willie Fred Gilmore of Tuskegee, AL; and his friends, Paul Dumas, Tony Dumas, Milton Whatley and Jackie Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
