It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Mays of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Grady May; his son Travis Mays; and his sister Shirley Brooker. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mays; his children, Katina Finney (James), Donna Crofutt (Jason Dykes) and Andy Smith; and his brother Donald Mays (Linda). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A special thanks to uncle Butch Brooker, niece Stacy Mays, and niece Christina Bowden for all their help the last few months. in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations by made to Red Cross.
