She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Wayne Burkes; and her brother Richard Burkes. She is survived by: her mother Ann Rutledge Burkes; her husband Mike Shirah; her daughters, Deonna Franks and Amelia Shiver (Benn); her stepchildren, Leslie Shirah, Brandi Cadir and Jeremy Shirah; her grandchildren, Rhiannon Griggs, Shelby Griggs, Daxton Campbell, Emory Campbell, Caden Shirah, Sebastian Cadir and Paris Shirah; and her grandmother Ella Ruth Burkes.
