She is survived by: her mother Lamerle Dempsey; her husband Boyd Battles of Phenix City, AL; her daughters, Angie Stone (Jeff) of Phenix City, AL and Angel Battles of Phenix City, AL; her siblings, Linda Posey of Phenix City, AL, Debra Linn (Dennis) of Macon, GA, Judy Franklin (John) and Bobby Dempsey (Bonita) of Phenix City, AL; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Bailey, Savannah, Emma, Abigail and Owen; and her great grandchildren, Kameron and Kierra. She is also survived by several other extended family and other friends.
