He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ray Givens and Sarah Andrews Givens. He is survived by: his sister Gloria Givens Birch (Chuck); his nieces and nephews, Jason Sanders (Landy), Tracee Brackins (Larry), Rodney Sanders (Angela) and Courtney Givens; and his friend Verlon Johnson.
