As we bid adieu to Claudette's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Claudette has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roby Coar, Jr. and Laura Bell Cook Coar. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonita Coar Walker (Anthony) and Ramona Michelle Pruitt (Benjamin "Skip"); her grandchildren, Joshua Michael Walker, Lauren Michelle Walker and Miles Julian Pruitt; her great grandchild Ronan Benjamin Pruitt; and her siblings, Laura Jean Price of Littleton, NC and John R "Bill" Coar, III (Patsy) of Phenix City, AL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Phillips Temple CME Church (1310 Holsey Street, Phenix City, AL).
