She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Olin Johnson and Statia Ann Hall Johnson; her brothers, Carl Johnson and Henry Lee Johnson; and her husband Kenneth Braxton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Townsend Harrison (Andrew Nolan) of Pensacola, FL and Angela Townsend Kite (Brent); her siblings, Noma Morris, Carolyn Henry and Comer Johnson; her grandchildren, Shane Harrison (April) of Phenix City, AL, Jason Hall of Phenix City, AL, Brandon Hall (Tiffani) of Columbus, GA, Chelsea Smith (Allen) and Destry Harrison (Sarah) of Smiths Station, AL; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Angel, Skyler, Brianna, Olivia, Hunter, Kloie and Tanner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
