He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jones Stephens; his children, Juan Maurice Stephens of Phenix City, AL, Aisha Stephens of Columbus, GA, Keita (Shenequa) and Keisha Stephens-Ajagbe (Adeyinka); his grandchild Aria Elizabeth Stephens; his siblings, Alice Owens of Cincinnati, OH, Willie James (Dorothy), Harold (Addie), Ralph Williams of Columbus, GA, Alvin Wright of Montgomery, AL, Richard Coppins of Lagrange, GA and Howard Jones of Albany, GA; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Brooks and Geraldine Jones; his cousins, Jackie Cole, Juenie Mathews, Frances Anderson, Mary Allen, Gwen Thompson and Bernice Thomas; his adoptive children, Patricia Banks, Gabrielle Colquitt, JaRon Hampton (Daina), Aaron Felder (Nordia) and Julius Fletcher; and his nephews, Andre, Robert Stephens, Reginald Collier, Theo, Tricy and Amir Jones.
