He was predeceased by: his wife Deloris Sellers; his parents, William Lamar Sellers and Mahalia Wynnell Taylor Sellers; and his siblings, Janice Sellers and Larry Sellers.
He is survived by: his children, Delainia Ranstead (Erik) of Hope Hull, AL, Donna Ayers (Keith) of Mobile, AL, Dale Atkins (Cathy) of Baxley and David Atkins (Debi) of Rincon; his sister Kathy Warren of Baxley; and his sister-in-law Mary Sellers of Cleveland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
