He was predeceased by: his wife Rena; his daughter Phyllis Ann; his parents, G. H. Whitted and Rettie Whitted; and his siblings, Martha Ivens and Billy.
He is survived by: his brother George Ray Whitted of Canton, N. C.; his sister-in-law Patricia Nix of Canton, N. C.; his children, Steven W. Whitted (Barbara) of Pace, FL, Nancy Whitted-Nevill (Billy S.) of Phenix City, AL and Keith E. Whitted of New Braunfels, TX; and his grandchildren, Shahn Whitted, Kelly Hill, Mary Foskey, Holly Whitted, Laura Whitted, Julia Gibson, Lindsay Myers, Lauren Whitted and Kyle Whitted. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.
