She was predeceased by: her father James Robert McLendon; her husband Marvin Hays; and her siblings, Robert McLendon, Roy McLendon, Mary Lee McLendon Smith and Evelyn McLendon McDaniel.
She is survived by: her sons, Marvin Samuel Hays (Melanie) and Jerry Mac Hays (Pat); her siblings, Reynolds McLendon, Ray McLendon, Mae Rolling, Rachel Renfroe and Nancy Bryant; her grandchildren, Brian Hays (Emily), Scott Hays (Liz), Nicole Hays Morrison (Kane) and Heather Hays (Chris Clark); and her great grandchildren, Arianna Hays, Landon Morrison, Ragen Morrison, Harrison Hays and Emma Claire Creel.
