With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Joyce Remus of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Slayden and Lillian Norsworthy Slayden. She is survived by: her children, Karen A. Salter (Curtis) of Havelock, Robert C. Dean (Christine) of Ann Arbor and William "Billy" Dean (Sandy) of Phenix City, Alabama; her sisters, Della Horn, Nancy Going and Nellie Lentz; her grandsons, David Dean (Lexi), Derek Dean (Melanie) and Donny Dean (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Aydan, John, Jayce and Reagan. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
