Brenda Fay Sumner Ware Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Fay Sumner Ware of Phenix City, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Sumner and Ruth Feltman Gore; her brother Fred Steven Gore; and her son Lonnie Joe Ware, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Joe Ware, Sr. of Phenix City, AL; her children, Melissa James, Thomas Meares (Rhonda), Sarah Flynn (Danny), Robin Rozell (Raymond), Matthew Meares, Philip Meares, Tracy Gordon (Jesse), Charles Ware (Tammy) and Charlene Brewer; and her brother Michael Gore (Pamela). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson on the way; one niece and two great-nieces; numerous other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Midway Baptist Church (9244 Mullin Rd, Smiths Station, AL 36877). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
