He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McNeil and Margaret McNeil (Cooper); and his sister Mary Margaret McNeil. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Sandy" McNeil; his children, Cerrina Elliott, Shannon Jones and Bobby Rose; and his sister-in-law Willie Mae Peters. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
