He is survived by: his wife Judy Jenkins Carpenter of Phenix City, AL; his sons, Jared Carpenter (Carson) of Phenix City, AL and Brock Carpenter (Kelly) of Phenix City, AL; his sisters, Terry Chapman of Phenix City, AL and Glenda Sanders of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Cooper Carpenter, Kennedy Carpenter, Hayden Ward and MaKenzee Ward; and his brothers, Lamar Tyner (Sharon) and Melvin Goodwin (Nanci). He is also survived by several extended family and friends.
