With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Wayne Harris of Peterman, Alabama, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on April 11, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Harris and Mary Gladys Strickland Harris (Bunnie) of Pleasant Hill. He is survived by: his son William Douglas Harris (Paula) of Peterman, AL; his granddaughters, Victoria Jones (James) of Seale, AL, Megan Gates (Trey) of Fulton, AL and Catlain McMillan (Josh) of Robertsdale, AL; and his siblings, Donnie Harris (Patsy) of Selma, Shelby Harris Collum (Gordon) of Meridian, MS and Tammy Harris Mason (Jim) of Benton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials sent to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association, 1890 County Road 12, Sardis, AL 36775.
