With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Linda Davis of Peterman, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Chavous and Gladys Arnold Chavous; and her brothers, Samuel Chavous, Buddy Chavous and Jerry Chavous.
She is survived by: her husband James Davis; her sons, Roger Mack Davis (Dawn) and Thomas Darrell Davis (Kristi); her grandchildren, Samuel Jeb Davis and Westley James Davis; and her brother Jimmy Chavous.
