He was predeceased by: his parents, George Z Nettles, Sr. and Jennie Bell Watts Nettels; his wife Virginia Nettles; his siblings, James Nettles, Cecil Nettles, George Nettles, Jr., Dan Nettles, Mildred Stabler and Judy Wheeler; and his son-in-law Woody Turnbow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Turberville (Ronald) of Peterman, Donna Kirchharr (Jeff) of Monroeville and Tammy Turnbow of Mobile. He is also survived by eight granddaughters; and six great grandchildren.
