He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benjamin and Freida Lezeita Rider Thomley; his son William Timothy Burl Thomley; and his brother Rev. Angelo Thomley. He is survived by: his wife Betty Weeks Thomley; his children, Joey Thomley (Sherry) of Perdido, AL and LaDonna Carpenter (Randy) of Perdido, AL; his siblings, George Thomley (Retha) of Tensaw, AL, Dwayne Thomley (Judy) of Baraga, MI, Billie Foster (Roy) of Pineville, FL, Betty Joan Brady (Conny) of Mobile, AL and Neita Hall (Dewayne) of Lottie, AL; and his grandchildren, Hayley, Adam, Alex, Danielle, Timothy and Donyel. He is also survived by his eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Splinter Hill Holiness Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
