He is survived by: his children, Robert Eugene Gardner, Jr. of Crossroads, AL, John Gardner (Shelby) of Excel, AL, Charles Arthur Gardner (Jerri) of Robertsdale, AL, Thomas Gardner (Tika) of Nokomis, AL, Eddie Gardner (Bess) of Rabun, AL, Theresa Ann Gardner of Perdido, AL, Rossanna Edwards (Shannon) of Malcolm, AL and Katherine Jones (Charles) of Robertsdale, AL; and his siblings, Benjamin Bryars (Dee) of Perdido, AL, Peggy White of Perdido, AL, Shelby Brown (Joel) of Perdido, AL, Shelia Michaels (Robert) of Chancellor, AL and Deborah Conway (Randy) of Perdido, AL. He is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
