He was predeceased by: his mother Jeffie Nell Maynard Brantley; his niece Emily Beam; his father-in-law John David Covington; and his nephew David Wyatt. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Covington Brantley; his sons, Chip, Kent (Brittany), John Moler (Melissa) and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Sadie, Kade, Ava, Katherine, Sawyer, Hunter, Amelia and Emory; his father Wilton K. Brantley, Sr. (Frances); his sister Rhonda Beam (Jim); his nieces, Carmen Beam Newsom (Reaves) and Maggie Beam; and his stepsiblings, Richard Brantley, Theresa Peters (Kim), Thomas Brantley (Anita) and David Brantley (Sharon).
