He is survived by: his children, Saundra Wallace (Benjamin) of Rochester, NY, Shirley Faye Wheeler (late Edward) of Colorado Springs, CO, Levan McDaniel (Dorothy) of Spring Lake, NC, David McDaniel (Carolyn) and Shaqueta Vessie (Chaz) of Talladega, AL; and his daughter-in-law Gloria McDaniel-Anderson of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
