He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Grant Rhodes and William Preston Rhodes; and his sister Kathy Rhodes Colvert. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Gibbs Rhodes; his children, Preston Rhodes (Grant Hall) and Jennifer Helms (Rock Helms); his sister Jeri Reese (Albert Reese); and his grandchildren, Trey Helms (Annelyse Wiggins Helms), Meredith Helms Wesner (Phillip Wesner), Emma Katherine Helms, Brooklyn Denise Helms, Helen Renee Helms, Gracie Faith Helms and Kayden Anthony Helms. He is also survived by one great-grandchild on the way; several nieces, nephew, and great-nieces and great- nephews.
