It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Barnes Boswell of Pell City, Alabama, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duke Boswell and Velma Boswell; his wife Dolly Boswell; his brothers, Clovis Boswell, Benson Boswell, Edward Boswell and Eugene Boswell; and his son-in-law Johnny Phillips.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Ford (Steve), Pamela Phillips (Johnny), Angela Cobb (Greg) and Jennifer Clark (Bill); his grandchildren, Josh Ford (Brooke), John Mark Ford (Leanne), Nancy Phillips (Edrick), Stedman Poe (Ashley), Katie Clark Spinks (Justin) and Jacob Clark (Caley); his great grandchildren, Cade Walker, Lucy Ford, Cameron Anoot, Cooper Ford, Barrett Ford, Payton Nickerson, Wyatt Spinks, Gatlin Spinks and Campbell Clark; and his adoptive children, Anne Glidewell and Kelvin Byers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Creekside Christian Church (61 Church St, Ragland, AL 35131).
