It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Ray Hammonds of Pell City, Alabama, who passed away on March 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Hammonds and Vergie "Sis" Hammonds; and his brother Terry Hammonds. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Hammonds; his children, Tracy H. Williams (Warren) and Brian Hammonds (Shay); his stepdaughter Denise Bay (Mike); his grandchildren, Savanna Windham, Katie Ehlers (Brian), Nolan Hammonds, Lawrence Hammonds and Lana Kate Hammonds; his stepgrandchildren, Christina Brown, Anna Bay and Mikey Bay; his siblings, Tommy Hammonds, Phyllis Posey, Amanda Ellison and Debbie Nelson; and his sister-in-law Elaine Hammonds. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
