We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 72, Mary Ann of Pell City, Alabama, born in Leeds, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Logan Bass and Lora Bell Bass; and her brother JB Bass. She is survived by: her daughter Angie Peoples Brackner (Charles) of Calera, Alabama; her husband James Peoples of Odenville, Alabama; her sons, Mike Allen (Fay) of Clay, Johnny Allen (Leah) of Mt. Laurel and Robert Peoples of Odenville, Alabama; her brother Bill Bass (Linda) of Moody, Alabama; her grandchildren, Amy Cordar, Ariel Allen, Lundon Allen, Zella Allen, James Taylor, Christopher Taylor and Levi Brackner; and her great grandchildren, Siva McKeever and Zion Taylor. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City (21271 US-231, Pell City, AL 35125). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
