It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Junkins Jr. of Pell City, Alabama, born in Aliceville, Alabama, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Noland Junkins; his daughter Maria Junkins Cash; his siblings, Earl Dean Junkins, Juanita Stephens and Wynelle Seymer; and his parents, John T. Junkins, Sr. and Lucille Lewis Junkins.
He is survived by: his sons, John T. Junkins III (Lori) of Pell City, AL and Phill S. Junkins (Elissa) of Franklinton, LA; his grandchildren, Will Cash (Amanda), Hilary Thompson (Chris), Jake Junkins, Amelia Junkins, Katelin Junkins and Jacob Junkins; and his great grandchildren, Luke Thompson and Hannah Kate Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
