He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lorene Doss and Clarence Eaves; and his brother Jerry Amos. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hinkle Eaves; his children, Johnny Eaves, Jr., Deana Thomas, Angie Castillo, Gena McCaleb and Jessica Eaves; his stepsons, Sam Hinkle, Jr. and Matt Hinkle; and his siblings, JoAnn Stauffer, Tonna Eaves, Mike Eaves, Kenneth Eaves, Morris Mann and Howard Mann. He is also survived by his 7 children, 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made in John's memory to Austin Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
