He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Kemp and Julius Kemp; his sister Julie Ann McCleney; and his son Joel Breck Kemp. He is survived by: his wife Brenda R. Kemp; his son Toby Kemp; and his grandson Dylan Kemp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and one nephew.
