He was predeceased by: his wife Louella Shears Bryant; his parents, George W. Bryant, Sr. and Grace Suggs Bryant; and his siblings, Mary Brooks, Inez Adams (Charlie), Hellon Lahnert (Howard), Edward Bryant (Shirley), Jack Bryant, James Bryant (Linda) and Melba Blankenship (Roy).
He is survived by: his sister Martha Hyde (Jack); and his caregivers, David, Doris Shears and Charlotte Shears. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
