He is survived by: his sister Rosemary Brown of Pleasant Grove; his children, Robert Mitchell Splawn (Casey) of Six Mile and Melinda Splawn of Birmingham; and his grandsons, Samuel Dean Splawn (Hayley) of Six Mile and Ryan Lee Splawn (Brittany) of Eoline. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
