He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hudgel and Barbara Hudgel; and his daughter Erica Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his son Todd; and his brother Dennis. He is also survived by three nieces and six great nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in his name to the local animal shelter or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
