He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Sue Blackerby; and his parents, David Blackerby, Sr. and Fay Blackerby. He is survived by: his children, Carol Blackerby and Derek Blackerby (Jessica); his grandchildren, Macie, Micah Blackerby and Dale Herren (Hannah); his great grandchild John Herren; and his sister Fay Lawhon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
