She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Silva and Eugenia Suarez Silva; her husband Samuel H. "Sam" Brody; her daughter Lynda Umbert Loggans Norton; her great grandchild John Brody Bell; her half-brother Manuel Silva; and her son-in-law John H. Bell.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Brody Bell; her grandchildren, Natalie Umbert Fiebush Whitaker, Devon Brody Bell (Christy) and Leslie Shay Loggans; her stepgrandson John H. Bell II (Sherry); her great grandchildren, Carolina Fiebush, Brody Bell, Braden Bell, Sam and Eli Whitaker; her stepgranddaughter Madelyn Bell Bryant (Seth); and her nieces and nephews, Melvin Brody (Joann), Richard Weber (Lynda), Johnathan Malat, Shawn Perry Turner, Rachel Shanley (John) and Deborah Kroschwitz (Ron).
