He was predeceased by: his daughter Suzanne Castleberry Maddox; and his parents, Stanley Maddox and Emily Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Susan Maddox; his son Bobby DeOwen Maddox (Amanda); his son-in-law Randy Castleberry (Cristy); his grandchildren, Shelby Collier (Ryan), Clay Castleberry, Callie Bowling (Trystin) and Owen Castleberry (Maddie); his great grandchildren, Amelia Collier, Hudson Collier, Levi Castleberry and Jax Bowling; and his siblings, Emily Sue Barber and Jackie D. Maddox (Tina). He is also survived by grandchildren; nine honorary great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City (21271 US-231, Pell City, AL 35125). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
