With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Pearl Martin Alverson of Pell City, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Douglas Alverson (Bo); her parents, Virdie Martin and L. G. Martin; and her siblings, Ray Martin and Ruby Henderson.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Landry (Ron) of Leeds, James Alverson of Pell City and Jeff Alverson (Laura) of Sanford, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Landry (Jodi) of Columbus, IN, Kate Gaston (David) of Baltimore, MD, Martin Landry (Janice) of New York, NY, Shannon Alverson of Ragland, Jamie DeFreese (Scott) of Cook Springs, Christy Allen of Swanville, MN, James Alverson (Sarah) of Sanford, NC and Carol Alverson of Morrisville, NC; and her sister-in-law Frances Martin of Miami, FL. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
The funeral home chapel is spacious and will enable social distancing to be observed. The church is small so social distancing will be more difficult at that service.
