He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Genry and Jean Peters Genry of Pea Ridge, Alabama.; and his siblings, Paula Greene and Kevin Genry. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jason Genry (Janice) and Meagan Glass; his grandchildren, Justin Genry, Jay Genry, EmmaGrace Glass and James Genry; his brothers, Phillip Genry (Susan) and Rodney Genry (Lena); his cousin Jack Gordon; and his sister-in-law Debbie Genry.

“I knew Tim when I was a student and The Univ. of Montevallo. I was a volunteer with The Shelco Fire District, so I first met him on calls. Later I was employed at Shelco and he, as a Shelby County Deputy Sheriff, was stationed at our fire station that was also the Sheriff's West Sub Station. I saw him daily and enjoyed every time we saw each other. He was a great friend and a Dedicated Law Enforcement Officer. God Speed Tim. 10-42! (Ending tour of duty)”
