He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Ellison Swanger; and his parents, Cecil Swanger and Joyce Swanger. He is survived by: his children, Andrea Mashburn (Jim), Kara Marchman (Alan) and Brandon Swanger; his grandchildren, Wyatt Morris, Nicholas Morris, Ian Hester, Riley Marchman, Ellison Mashburn, Chelsea Mashburn, Joseph Mashburn, Conner Marchman, Cydney Marchman and Colin Marchman; his siblings, Ed Swanger (Pat), Stacey Swanger and Carol Wiener; his nephews, Steven Johnson and Jeff Nesmith; and his pet Rocky.
