She was predeceased by: her husband Captain David W. Yeager; and her parents, Charles K. McEwen and Ruby O. McEwen of Birmingham. She is survived by: her children, David William Yeager (Wendy) and Sarah Yeager Thornton (Michael); and her grandchildren, Taylor Thornton (Morgan), Duke Yeager, McEwen Thornton and Seth Yeager.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to be sent to St. Stephens Episcopal Church of Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
