He was predeceased by: his son Michael Todd Anthony; his parents, Myrtle Russell Anthony and Moman Leroy Anthony; and his siblings, Moman Leroy Anthony, Jr. and June Anthony Hadaway.
He is survived by: his friend Crimson Tide; his wife Gwen Anthony; his son Russell Steven Anthony (Rhonda); his granddaughters, Marilyn Todd Anthony, Lillian Brooke Anthony and Haleigh Frances Anthony; and his siblings, Delmus Ray Anthony, Frances Elizabeth Anthony, Geraldine Anthony Hicks and Charlotte Anthony Patrick.
