He was predeceased by: his wife Voncile; his parents, Roland Sandlin and Myrtle Sandlin; and his brother Albert Sandlin. He is survived by: his children, Machelle Steffen (Ryan) and Rob Sandlin (Amy); his grandchildren, Blake, Ryleigh, Jaxon Steffen, Adrian, Alex, Addi and Aden Sandlin; his siblings, Virgil Sandlin (ChaRue), Daryl Sandlin (Benita), Pat Lindsey (Ben) and Pam Thayer (Ron); and his sister-in-law Charlotte Sandlin. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
