He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Cooper and Eleanor Cooper. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Cooper; his children, Eileen Marie Kowalski and DiDi McMeans Traffanstedt (Shane); his grandchildren, William Cooper McMeans, Jarrett Walker McMeans, Ava Kathleen Kowalski, Kyle Raymond Kowalski and Logan Brent Kowalski; and his sister Marcia Fremont. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Legacy of Hope Alabama Organ. Donation in honor of Mr. Cooper and other organ donor recipients.
