He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Faye Bean (Boyer) and Charles William Bean; and his brother David Rhett Bean. He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Bean of Shelby; his daughter Kelsey Bean (Bobby Smith) of Pelham; his stepsons, Jason Dahl of Greensboro and Eric Blankenship of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Anderson and Emma Rae Dahl. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
