He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Franks and Frankie Franks. He is survived by: his wife Sally Robins Franks; his children, Stephanie Massey (Dale), Mark Jr. Franks (Shelby) and Anthony Franks; his grandchildren, Sara, Abbey Kate Massey, Andrew, Michael and Alexander Franks; his brothers, Donnie Franks (Jean), Ray Franks (Melody) and Steve Franks (Rosemary); his nephew Jimmy Huntsinger (Karen); and his sisters, Dena Parker (Wallace) and Gina Heard (Phil). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
